Following the success of our previous events we have decided to collaborate with the organizing company Fantasy Sonido y Iluminación (NIF 43377334R), and promoter Ancor Sanchez (NIF 78703354E) in the entertaining and artistic show “CRAZY ABOUT MUSIC II” – LOKURA LATINA, a charity music event which will take place on September 19, 2015 in Plaza de la Patrona de Canarias (Candelaria) for the general public.
The performance will be full of music with various singers such as Henry Mendez, Guille the Invincible, Tony Tuntun, Hector “El Isleño”, Daviel and as DJs, Big Charlie and Tana Sandoval among others.
The venue will have 4 or 5 food and beverage kiosks that will be operating from gate opening at 18:30 for the public to enjoy refreshments and also get information about the different services and activities offered by our partners and collaborators as well as from our Foundation’s stand, while the performances will begin at 20:00.
We encourage the participation of all individuals, companies, associations and public entities to share with us in this fun experience.
Promoting mental health awareness and integration is our priority and we wish for one day, it be everybody’s priority, whether we be diagnosed with a mental disorder or not.

Your logo, along with our other partners and sponsors, will be put on the event’s official poster, advertised on the big screen on stage, on banners, on Radio El Dia, TV Canaria, promotional videos, and via social networking and posters placed throughout the island.

There will also be posters on Titsa buses that besides offering ticket sales from the web to promote bus + entrance, the website of tuticket.com can redirect ticket sale traffic to your page as well.
We are fortunate to receive a percentage of each ticket sold so we can continue with our quality of life projects.
Proceeds from this event will be going to our “Crazy about Africa” project, aimed at building a community care network for people with SMI (severe mental disorder) and their families, towards integration into employment with different initiatives of social integration in the community.
It involves hiring between 5 to 7 people with SMI for the collection, storage, sorting and recycling of items and second-hand goods which later will be sent to Senegal (Dakar) where other people with SMI will market these goods for their livelihoods.
It is therefore an employment project with a definite focus on solidarity and cooperation for development.
To manage the project we now have a locale called the “Droping Point” at Guimar for collection and storage. We also have the necessary contacts in Dakar in order to determine shipment priorities and ensure their proper use.
And along this line we are interested in the exchange of experiences in mental health between Africa and the Canary Islands to learn about our different realities and the possibilities of collaboration and mutual support in the field of care for people with SMI, and their families.
