After the success of previous events, we have decided to organise a new challenge, the “Seven Islands Trail from Santiago del Teide to Los Gigantes.” on the 6th June – open to all the public.
The excursion will start in the rural park of Teno from Santiago del Teide and progress through the picturesque Special Nature Reserve of Chinyero, finishing off in the port of Los Gigantes overlooking the magnificent “Giant” Cliffs. On this relaxing hike amidst the beautiful countryside the participants will enjoy various stops along the way – one for each of the seven unique Canary Islands – where they will discover their typical customs, food and wine.
Everybody is invited to take part and fundraise or donate the minimum amount of 40€ (inclusive of everything on the day) to join the challenge alongside some of our members affected by mental illnesses, who will also be taking part.
Our objective is to challenge ourselves, doing something which combines physical exertion, fun and adventure amidst natural surroundings and at the same time highlights our plight to improve Mental health on the island. We want our participants to understand and feel passionate about the cause they are taking part in whilst enjoying a great experience.
