]]>We have registered the Foundación En Pié in the ULL Solidarity project. Its mission is to create a database to facilitate the system of University volunteering. Students will be able to benefit from academic and extracurricular advantages by participating in any Canarian entity.
The ULL Solidarity project has created a map of associations in which we, the entities, can make our tasks visible by providing contact information, location and types of volunteer profiles among other information. This makes it is easier for university students to choose the entity that best suits their preferences.
We are very excited about the ULL Solidarity proposal and give our thanks for it.

We thank the Cabildo of Tenerife, the municipalities of Candelaria, Güímar, Arafo and all the companies involved for their invaluable collaboration.
There are not enough words of thanks for this demonstration of solidarity.

]]>We first met Cami when she took part in the 2nd Masca-kayak challenge in October 2014. Since then she has scarcely missed an event since and has become one of our most faithful supporters. Cami has raised huge amounts of funds and awareness for the foundation. We are incredibly proud and thrilled that she has agreed to be our first Ambassador for the foundation.
Cami is no stranger to the importance of mental health, being a family member of someone diagnose with a mental health issue, something she has not been afraid to talk about, using her knowledge and incredible sensitivity to help others with similar stories to tell.
Being open about mental health is so important to normalise it and rid society of the shame surrounding it and she has and continues to be a very big voice in her community, supporting the Foundation by promoting our work as widely as possible and encouraging more people to support En Pié,
Cami is a very caring and passionate person who fights continually for our cause, becoming part of the Foundation family, and we are very lucky to have her on board.
For these reasons En Pie have nominated Camilla Randell as our 1st Ambassador, to recognise her efforts and show our appreciation.
THANK YOU CAMI!

Not a red jewel to behold
The vines are now in slumber mode
As winter does unfold.”

We all celebrated the fun and entertaining party, enjoying great music and in good company, that we had prepared for her.
Abreu Akoran sang two songs that Jorge Perez (Dj from Radio Lokura), who was in charge of the instrumental mix that accompanied the singer, spent many hours this week preparing.
Gordon King (singer and Oasis Radio Dj) and his friend Sammy Jay came from the south during their free time to play at the party. We appreciate their cooperation and gesture of solidarity.

La Quinta – The Witch’s Caldron
This is a nice, easy to moderate walk at La Quinta by Tauco, mostly through Pine forest, with dramatic barranco views.
And the witch’s den rose out of the eerie mist.
The witch emerged and swept through the forest on her broom stick at lightening speed to the Mouth of Hell.
She eyed the bones of her innocent victims that lay within the barranco and cried: “No more shall ye defecate in my forest!”
