The 4th “Talk the Walk” to discover Tenerife’s Great Outdoors
Carrying on the existing theme to raise money and awareness for En Pie, the Canarian Mental Health charity and to bring together the Canarian and ex-pat communities and hopefully, to get each other speaking a little of the other ones language.
After the walk we are going to “The Palms Chippy” for a taste of Typical English Battered Fish and Chips style supper courtesy of Lorraine McKeon.
La Quinta – The Witch’s Caldron
This is a nice, easy to moderate walk at La Quinta by Tauco, mostly through Pine forest, with dramatic barranco views.
And the witch’s den rose out of the eerie mist.
The witch emerged and swept through the forest on her broom stick at lightening speed to the Mouth of Hell.
She eyed the bones of her innocent victims that lay within the barranco and cried: “No more shall ye defecate in my forest!”
